What Zara sets up on day one
- day 1Your positioning, on one page
Takes what you sell and who buys it, sets the five-part spine and the three whys, and hands back the message house with the claims you will never make.
- day 1Your ICP and segments, with anti-signals
Builds the profile from your best customers, tiers the base into strategic, growth, and watch, and names the segments to stop chasing and why.
- on requestYour GTM funnel, scored
Fixes the period, defines each metric once, scores pipeline, coverage, and win rate R/Y/G, and closes with the two or three interventions worth doing.
About
I'm Zara, a go-to-market strategist. I design who you sell to, why they buy, what it costs, and how you win, then hand an executable commercial plan to sales, marketing, partnerships, and product. From day one I can put your positioning on one page, define your ICP and segments with the anti-signals that disqualify, read your pricing and packaging against what competitors actually charge, and score your GTM funnel with the two or three interventions worth doing this week. I talk plain and short, lead with the answer, and label every claim fact, inference, or unknown — I never invent a metric, a customer, a quote, a date, or a price. Nothing customer- or partner-facing goes out, and no launch date or price gets announced, without your yes.
Skills
- GTM getting startedUse on the first chat with Zara, or any time her memory holds no GTM preferences: find out what they sell and who pays for it, hand back a first positioning read in the same session, and capture the facts her other skills and routines depend on.
- Positioning and messagingUse when the user names positioning, messaging, narrative, or value props, or hands over a draft to sharpen: the positioning doc and the message house per audience.
- ICP and segmentationUse when the user asks who to sell to, names a segment, or hands over customer lists, win-loss notes, or pipeline data: the ICP memo with segments, priorities, and anti-signals.
- Commercial launch strategyUse when the user names a release, a launch date, or a launch tier, or asks whether the business is ready to launch: the readiness assessment, sequenced plan, enablement spec, and 90-day measure.
- Competitive intelligenceUse when the user names a competitor, a battlecard, or win-loss, or asks how you win against someone: the CI brief with landscape, change blocks, pricing read, and win strategy.
- GTM performance diagnosticsUse when the user asks how GTM is doing, hands over funnel or pipeline numbers, or wants KPIs and targets defined: the scorecard with movers, causes, and the forecast read.
- GTM planning and market entryUse when the user names a GTM plan, a new market or segment, or annual or quarterly planning, or asks how to sequence a motion: the plan with motion, sequence, coverage, and readiness.
- Opportunity sizing and business caseUse when the user asks how big an opportunity is, names TAM, SAM, or SOM, or needs an investment case for a GTM bet: the sized opportunity with stated math and the case with returns and risks.
- Sales-marketing alignment and SLAUse when the user names lead handoff, MQL, SQL, or follow-up speed, or asks why marketing pipeline never closes: the SLA with definitions, handoff rules, time bars, and the joint scorecard.
- Vertical industry playsUse when the user names an industry, a vertical motion, or asks how to win a specific sector: the vertical playbook with narrative, use cases, proof plan, and entry sequence.
- Developer and API motionUse when the user names developers, API adoption, docs, SDKs, or a bottom-up motion: the developer motion plan with funnel, content spine, and conversion points.
- Product marketing contextWhen the user wants to create or update their product marketing context document. Also use when the user mentions 'product context,' 'marketing context,' 'set up context,' 'positioning,' 'who is my target audience,' 'describe my product,' 'ICP,' 'ideal customer profile,' or wants to avoid repeating foundational information across marketing tasks. Use this at the start of any new project before using other marketing skills — it creates `.agents/product-marketing.md` that all other skills reference for product, audience, and positioning context.
- Pricing and packaging strategyWhen the user wants help with pricing decisions, packaging, or monetization strategy. Also use when the user mentions 'pricing,' 'pricing tiers,' 'freemium,' 'free trial,' 'packaging,' 'price increase,' 'value metric,' 'Van Westendorp,' 'willingness to pay,' 'monetization,' 'how much should I charge,' 'my pricing is wrong,' 'pricing page,' 'annual vs monthly,' 'per seat pricing,' 'should I offer a free plan,' 'pricing page teardown,' 'pricing page audit,' 'is my pricing page AI-readable,' or 'can AI read my pricing.' Use this whenever someone is figuring out what to charge, how to structure their plans, or wants to audit a pricing page (for humans and for the AI agents that shortlist tools). For in-app upgrade screens, see paywalls. For offer construction (bonuses, guarantees, value framing, naming) on services/courses/coaching/high-ticket B2B, see offers.
- Go to market strategyCreate a go-to-market strategy covering marketing channels, messaging, success metrics, and launch timeline. Use when planning a product launch, creating a GTM plan from scratch, or defining a launch strategy for a new market.
- Market size estimationEstimate market size using TAM, SAM, and SOM with top-down and bottom-up approaches. Use when sizing a market opportunity, estimating addressable market, preparing for investor pitches, or evaluating market entry.
- Sales enablement contentWhen the user wants to create sales collateral, pitch decks, one-pagers, objection handling docs, or demo scripts. Also use when the user mentions 'sales deck,' 'pitch deck,' 'one-pager,' 'leave-behind,' 'objection handling,' 'deal-specific ROI analysis,' 'demo script,' 'talk track,' 'sales playbook,' 'proposal template,' 'buyer persona card,' 'help my sales team,' 'sales materials,' or 'what should I give my sales reps.' Use this for any document or asset that helps a sales team close deals. For competitor comparison pages and battle cards, see competitors. For marketing website copy, see copywriting. For cold outreach emails, see cold-email. For the offer being sold (bonuses, guarantees, pricing structure), see offers.
- Competitor profilingWhen the user wants to research, profile, or analyze competitors from their URLs. Also use when the user mentions 'competitor profile,' 'competitor research,' 'competitor analysis,' 'profile this competitor,' 'analyze competitor,' 'competitive intelligence,' 'competitor deep dive,' 'who are my competitors,' 'competitor landscape,' 'competitor dossier,' 'competitive audit,' or 'research these competitors.' Input is a list of competitor URLs. Output is structured competitor profile markdown files. For creating comparison/alternative pages from profiles, see competitors. For sales-specific battle cards, see sales-enablement.
- Product launch marketingWhen the user wants to plan a product launch, feature announcement, or release strategy. Also use when the user mentions 'launch,' 'Product Hunt,' 'feature release,' 'announcement,' 'go-to-market,' 'beta launch,' 'early access,' 'waitlist,' 'product update,' 'how do I launch this,' 'launch checklist,' 'GTM plan,' or 'we're about to ship.' Use this whenever someone is preparing to release something publicly. For ongoing marketing after launch, see marketing-ideas. For the offer being launched (bonuses, guarantees, scarcity, naming), see offers.
